Who we are
Focus Assured Services Ltd ("Focus Assured", "we") is the data controller for everything you give us through this service, whichever partner's branding you see. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 06716352, and with the Information Commissioner's Office under number [TBC - ICO registration number].

What we collect
Your business name and legal entity, your name, role, email address and phone number, your site address, your meter numbers (MPAN or MPRN), your current supplier and contract end date, your energy usage, the prices you were shown, and the Letter of Authority and contract you sign electronically.
If you upload a bill, we read the details we need from it - meter numbers, supplier, address and usage - on our own systems, and keep only those details. We do not keep the bill file itself.
Why we use it
To find your meter, get prices from suppliers on our panel, prepare your Letter of Authority and contract, submit your contract to the supplier and keep you updated on your switch. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and then performing it.
To send renewal reminders, only if you ask us to. You can stop these at any time.
Who we share it with
Industry data services and UtilityClick, our quoting and contract system, to look up your meter and get prices.
The energy supplier you choose, and the aggregator that submits contracts to them, to set up your contract.
Signable, to collect your electronic signature.
National Craft Butchers sees which member businesses have registered and when their contracts end. They do not see your email address, your usage or your prices. You can ask us to stop sharing this.

How long we keep it
Quote journeys that do not end in a contract are deleted after 90 days.
If you take a contract, we keep the records that relate to it for as long as the contract runs and for [TBC] years afterwards.
A signed Letter of Authority lasts 12 months from signature unless you withdraw it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Use Manage my details, or email us. We respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
